Ω-6 SEED OIL

Vegetable oil

What it is

An unnamed blend — almost always soybean, canola, palm, or whatever was cheapest that week. The vagueness is the point.

Why your biology objects

When the oil isn't named, assume the cheap high-linoleic-acid option, with the full PUFA peroxidation concern. A label that won't tell you which oil it used is telling you it changes with the commodity price, not the recipe.
