Hemp protein

What it is

Protein pulled from a whole food and dried to a powder — hemp and egg-white the gentler end, rice protein the more stripped.

Why your biology objects

The knock is isolation — the protein leaves its food matrix behind. Hemp protein is the least processed (it keeps fibre and minerals); egg-white powder is a complete protein but a separated fraction; rice protein is lysine-limited unless blended. Real protein, but a fraction of a food, not the food.
