ACTUAL FOOD

Coconut flour

What it is

The coconut meat itself — shredded, dried, or ground to a grain-free flour after the oil and milk are pressed out.

Why your biology objects

A whole tropical food: very high fibre (coconut flour is roughly a quarter fibre), plant protein and potassium, with the residual fat rich in lauric acid, a stable medium-chain saturated fat. Minimally processed, calorie-dense, real.
